Tree Removal Brisbane
Non Stop Tree Solutions removes dead, damaged, dangerous and unwanted trees from properties across Brisbane and surrounding areas. We are a family-owned and operated business, working in tree care since 2014, and our team has earned over 50 trade certifications.
When a tree should come out
Removal is usually the right call when pruning cannot fix the problem. Common reasons include:
- The tree is dead, dying or showing signs of advanced decay, such as fungus at the base or a hollow trunk
- It has been damaged in a storm and has split, cracked or lost major limbs
- It has started to lean, or the soil around the base is lifting
- It is growing too close to your house, roof, fence, pipes or driveway
- It is in the way of building work, a pool or a new driveway
If you are unsure, we will inspect the tree and explain your options before any work is booked.
How a tree removal works
- Contact us. Call 0493 378 010 or use the form on our home page. Tell us where the tree is and what is close to it.
- On-site inspection and plan. We look at the tree, the access and the surroundings, then give you a free quote and a plan for the job.
- The removal. The method depends on the tree and the site. We aim to leave your property clean and safe when we finish.
Do you need council approval to remove a tree in Brisbane?
Not always, but sometimes. Brisbane City Council protects certain vegetation under its Natural Assets Local Law 2003, and it is an offence to interfere with protected vegetation without permission, even on your own property. Street trees and trees on Council land cannot be pruned without permission either. Before you book, check the rules on Brisbane City Council’s protected vegetation page. If your tree is protected, you will usually need a permit first, unless an exemption applies.
Trees near powerlines
If a tree is touching or close to powerlines, do not attempt any work yourself. Energex advises staying at least 10 metres away from a tree that is making contact with powerlines, and says vegetation growing near powerlines should only be cut back by a professional arborist or tree trimmer. You can ask Energex to trim trees growing in powerlines through its trees and powerlines page.
Frequently asked questions
How much does tree removal cost in Brisbane?
The price depends on the size and height of the tree, how easy it is to reach, what is around it and how much clean-up is involved. We look at the tree before quoting, and quotes are free. Call 0493 378 010 to book an inspection.
Do I need a permit to remove a tree on my own property?
Only if the tree is protected. Interfering with protected vegetation is an offence even on private land, so check with Brisbane City Council before any work starts.
